Adjuvant therapy of mucosal melanoma
Abstract
Mucosal melanoma is a rare subtype of melanoma and associated with extremely poor prognosis. However, standard adjuvant therapy for mucosal melanoma has not been established. Some approaches have been studied to reduce the risk of recurrence in patients. These include adjuvant chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and radiotherapy (RT). In this review we aim to summarize and evaluate the therapies in development.
