Davide Campobasso, MD

Davide Campobasso MD, born in 1983, is working as a Consultant Urologist at the Urology Unit of the University Hospital of Parma, Italy. He graduated in Medicine in 2008 at the University of Parma. He obtained the specialization in Urology at the University of Modena, Italy in 2014. During his residency he worked at the Urology Unit of the University Hospital of Parma and he did an internship at the Division of Pediatric Surgery of San Bortolo Hospital, Vicenza, Italy, and completed a fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at the Center of Urologic Laparoscopy and Robotic, Clinique Saint-Augustin in Bordeaux, France, under the mentorship of Dr Richard Gaston. After completing his residency, he worked as a consultant for advanced endourology and laparoscopic surgery at the Urology Unit at the University Hospital of Parma in 2014. Between October 2014 and January 2021, he worked as a Consultant in the Urology Unit at the Hospital of Guastalla and Franchini Hospital of Montecchio Emilia, AUSL-IRCCS of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Between April 2015 and January 2021, he was a member of the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Care Pathway for Prostate Cancer for the AUSL I.R.C.C.S. of Reggio Emilia, Italy. In 2017 he completed a 2nd Level Master degree in Advanced Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery in Urology, at the Division of Urology, Department of Oncology, University of Turin, San Luigi Hospital, Orbassano, Italy (Chief: Prof. Francesco Porpiglia). Member of the Meet-URO Group (Italian Network for Research in Urologic Cancer), he published more than 60 articles focusing on uro-oncology and mini-invasive treatments in urology.

Stefano Puliatti, MD

Stefano Puliatti, 36 years old, works as a Consultant Urologist at the Urology Department of the University Hospital (AOU) in Modena. He is also an Assistant Professor in urology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He obtained his degree in Medicine and specialization in Urology at the University of Modena. He then moved to Belgium, where he completed a clinical and research fellowship at OLV – Hospital under the guidance of Prof. Alexandre Mottrie, one of the pioneers and leading experts in robotic-assisted surgery. For 2 years, he served as the Medical Director of Orsi Academy (Melle, Belgium), considered one of the most important global centers for robotic surgery training. His surgical activity focuses on minimally invasive robot-assisted surgery for the treatment of malignant and benign urological conditions. His research is centered on uro-oncology, the application of new technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions, and training in minimally invasive surgery. He has published more than 100 scientific papers in prestigious urological journals and numerous book chapters. He serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals and holds the position of OCERT Advisory Board member. OCERT (The "ORSI Consensus on European Robotic Training") is a non-profit society aiming to create valid and effective robotic training programs. He is a full member of the Urotechnology Working Group of YAU (EAU Young Academic Urologists), a group of European urologists under 40 y.o. who have demonstrated excellence in the scientific field. Dr. Puliatti is also a member of the Educational Training Committee in the Robotic Surgery section of the Italian Endourology Association (IEA) and a member of the Scientific Office - Training and Education Committee of the Italian Society of Urology (SIU). He teaches Interdisciplinary Sciences in the Bachelor's degree in OBGYN and serves as a lecturer in Systematic Pathologies in the Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Modena. Since 2022, he holds the Italian national scientific qualification to be full professor of urology.

Stefania Ferretti, MD
Head of Endourology & Minimally Invasive Surgery (lap/Rob) Unit, University of Modena & Reggio Emilia, Modena, Italy

Stefania Ferretti MD, is the Head of Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery (lap/Rob) Unit at Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria of Modena, Italy, and Coordinator of the Prostate Cancer Unit. She is Adjuvant Professor for School of Residency Program in Urology at University of Modena and Reggio-Emilia – UNIMORE with National Scientific Habilitation to Associate Professor of Urology; Expert and Opinion leader in endourology and stone disease. Coordinator of Educational Training Committee in Laparoscopy for the Italian Association of Endourology (IEA); Coordinator of ECIRS working group of International Alliance of Urolithiasis (IAU); Member of the Editorial Board Urology of Minerva Nephrology and Urology (MUN). Faculty/moderator member in > 90 national and international congress; Live Surgery operator in 42 national and international events. Author of 220 scientific communications and 145 publications.
